pam miller

Pam Miller is the founder of The Küper Consulting Group. Her passion is working tactically with clients to increase the speed and accuracy of their tax reporting function; finding better ways for them to work with tax and accounting technologies and rethinking existing processes. Throughout her career, Pam has never turned down the chance to solve a complex problem around managing tax data.

Pam’s clients range from start-ups to Fortune 500, many with extensive global operations. Broad areas of her expertise include:

  • Acting as a liaison between tax and accounting to bridge communication gaps around process and technology improvements

  • Streamlining HFM configurations to extract functional tax data with little to no manual manipulation

  • Providing analytics to:

    • Validate accounting data before importing to tax systems

    • Support tax to audit reconciliation

    • Identify and develop global mitigation strategies to reduce audit risk

Having over 20 years of corporate tax experience in both public accounting and industry, Pam also has a broad base of experience with accounting and tax software including(but not limited to) SAP, Oracle, HFM, Corptax, OneSource and Tax Series.

A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, Pam holds both a BA and an MPA. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.


glenn kobes

Glenn Kobes is a Principal at The Küper Consulting Group. He helps global companies navigate the process and technology changes needed to streamline and automate their tax reporting function. Over the course of his career, Glenn has worked with clients to:

  • Integrate tax provision tools such as OneSource, Corptax, Oracle and Hyperion Tax Provision (HTP) into their tax reporting process, often bringing technology vendor representatives and client development teams together to design custom yet cost-effective solutions.

  • Develop analytics that:

    • Streamline data flow between accounting systems, such as SAP and Hyperion, to tax systems

    • Flag anomalies and errors in accounting data before it’s extracted and loaded into tax systems

    • Use data from the tax reporting systems to create a dashboard that highlights materiality and monitors, real time, progress of the global reporting process

  • Convert and migrate legacy tax basis to an enterprise resource planning system to increase accuracy of tax reporting data

  • Sensitize SAP to tax department requirements and train tax personnel how to best use the technology to reduce time spent on year-end activities

With over 25 years of combined industry and tax consulting experience Glenn is also a frequent speaker at vendor user conferences, such as Corptax and OneSource, as well as other industry and client events.

Before joining the Küper Consulting Group, Glenn was a partner in the Tax Performance Advisory team at Ernst & Young. Prior to that Glenn spent the first half of his career working at a Fortune 100 energy sector company, leading their tax process and technology team to support 250 tax department professionals worldwide.

A Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas, Glenn is also a graduate of University of Texas at Austin.
